Speed In Sports' training programs are scientifically designed
to improve an athlete's performance as well as reduce the
risk of injury while playing sports. The program offers up-to-date
scientific research and cutting edge athletic enhancement
technology. Dedicated to enhancing athletic performance this
system integrates a comprehensive individual training program
specially tailored to meet the specific needs of each athlete,
sport and the position.
Our
program design is a regimented approach of combining optimal
movement, functional strength, plyometric and explosive power,
functional flexibility, and recovery.

Focused on speed and movement training to enhance all areas
of athletic performance, the program's goal is not simply to
run fast, but to play fast. Playing fast consists of running
fast, reacting fast, and recovering fast. The goal of playing
fast is met by three objectives: improve speed, improve agility
and improve conditioning.
Our
program develops the neuromuscular system educating the muscles
and nerves not only on how to move, but how fast to move.
The concept behind this is to train the body beyond its normal
capacity, allowing the athlete to get the most out of training.
By forcing additional fast twitch fibers to activate during
training we make it easier for athletes to overcome the inertial
force of gravity and move faster then ever before. This educates
the body to increase the speed in which it moves, reacts,
and recovers.
Each
athlete will be evaluated for functional movement, power,
speed, agility and sport-specific conditioning. Once we identify
the strengths and limiting factors of each individual athlete
we prescribe and implement a comprehensive training program.
Our tailored program will not only improve athletic performance,
but will also decrease the risk of injury associated with
high intensity competition.
